Lighthouse: Now with inline-attachments

will

Remember scrolling through a ticket with several comments and finding a file attached at the bottom of the page that forced you to scroll ALL the way back to the top to find what it was talking about?

Well, those days are no more! Lighthouse now has inline-attachments in the ticket view.

inline-attachments

So when you're skimming through ticket comments, attachments will be inline with the tickets and comments they were attached to, making life easier for everyone.

We estimate that this UI enhancement will save you more than six hours a year in scrolling time. That's a lot of wear on your scroll wheel that you won't have to worry about anymore.

This is just the beginning of UI enhancements for tickets. Phase 2, which will bring multiple file uploads to your fingertips and Phase 3 will include thumbnail previews of image files so you can identify specific screenshots and graphics from the ticket view.

    This is great!

However, I hope that the list will also show up in its existing location. Otherwise, attachments could be hard to find in a long ticket with lots of comments…

Dan: they originally weren’t, but we got this exact feedback from other people and put the sidebar list back :)
