Introducing Lighthouse Keeper for your Mac

Lighthouse has come a long way since we launched it in February of 2007. We've rolled out a complete redesign, added support for Open Source projects, implemented Markdown for ticket formatting, gave users workflow options with custom ticket states, and submitted a plethora of other improvements. It's been really amazing watching our product and the community around it grow during this time.

For the Mac users on Lighthouse, Martin Pilkington over at M Cubed Software has just released a cool native application called Lighthouse Keeper.

Lighthouse on your Desktop

Lighthouse Keeper takes the goodness of Lighthouse and brings it right to your Desktop. If you're a git user this means you could be closing tickets on your next flight with Lighthouse Keepers offline browsing ability.

You can also manage multiple accounts, which includes the ability to search for tickets across those accounts from a single search field.

We are really stoked to see a Desktop app based around Lighthouse and hope that Martins efforts will open some new doors for Lighthouse users out there.

Lighthouse Keeper comes with a free trial, so check it out!

It would be great if you could make some updates to the API to help this product along. For instance, Martin mentioned in his blog post that you can’t edit tickets from LH Keeper which is something that I need to do quite frequently.

Matt—Ricks planning on working on the API this weekend to help out with some of those problems that came up at the last minute.
